In late 2007, a small luxury boat named Valentine has launched. It offers five luxurious cabins, which are equipped with high quality facilities and amenities. All cabins were designed with large windows in order to provide the best panoramic view of Halong Bay.

Valentine Cruise is one of the most luxurious & boutique Junks in Halong Bay, built in Vietnam , utilizing local materials and the handiwork of skilled shipbuilders, craftsmen and artists. As in the days of old they are built entirely of wood. The wood featured in the interiors is called “go huong”, which translates as aromatic wood, it is a highly durable and beautifully grained wood which adds to the rich and warm character of the boats.

Each of our boats features spacious, well-appointed cabins and suites with large ensuite marble bathrooms, a large sundeck with comfortable lounging furniture and an elegant dining room and bar. We have designed and fitted our boats to international standards while maintaining traditional Chinese Junk styling, creating the perfect balance of modern comforts and nostalgic ambiance.

Our smaller boat, the “Valentine”, launched in late 2007, is perfect for those seeking a more exclusive and intimate experience. Valentine is a full service vessel offering all the facilities and amenities of our larger boats, but with only five cabins; four Deluxe cabins at 19 square meters each and one Suite cabin at 30 square meters. All of the on Valentine bathrooms feature bathtub/Jacuzzi as well as showers.

The Sun Deck

With its comfortable lounge chairs, fresh breeze and dazzling views, the Sundeck invites guests to lie back and relax. Featuring an impressive range of cocktails and an easy, relaxed ambiance, the Sunset Bar is a delightful place to socialize and watch the sun sink behind the bay’s myriad islands.

The Bar and Lounge

Located in the Restaurant, this cozy bar features silk chairs, embroidered décor. A wide variety of wines and cocktails is available.

The Foot Massage

2days - 1night

VIP Valentine Cruise Halong Bay 2Days/1Night on Luxury Cruise

Day 1: Hanoi-Valentine Cruise Halong (Lunch, Dinner)

We depart from the capital at 8 :10am for Halong Bay approximately three hours away by Private Car. En route we have a short stop at the Sao Do center run for and by handicapped children for short break. Upon arrival at Halong Bay 12:00pm

12:15 Transfer by tender to the Valentine Cruise boat – enjoy Welcome Drink. Receive cruise briefing and check in to cabins and begin cruise.

13:00 Lunch - luxurious Vietnamese and International Set Menu.

Massage service is available beginning after lunch and throughout the cruise.

14.30 Arrive at Titop Island. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and climbing the steps to the top of the mountain on the island for fantastic views and photo opportunities. Water and towels supplied. We will spend about 45 minutes on the island.

15.15 Transfer back to the boat and sail for approximately 45 minutes to our second destination - the Bat Cave area.

16.15 Arrive at the Bat Cave area. There are two programs to choose from at this time. One option is a 40 minute kayaking program to the nearby Bat Cave and lagoon and surrounding waters. Kayaking is $US30/per person unless already booked as part of your package. Water is supplied.

The second option is to visit the largest floating fishing village in Halong Bay. We will travel to the village on the tender and tour the village for approximately 20 minutes.

18:30 Arrive at Luon Bo area - anchor for overnight.

19:00 Dinner - luxurious Vietnamese & Western Buffet or Set Menu Dinner.

20:30 Evening activities include: film entertainment in the dining room at approximately

9:15 board games and playing cards are available, join squid fishing from the boat with our crew, massage services are available. Also at this time we offer, when possible - depending on weather conditions, an excursion to a nearby squid fishing boat. We travel by tender and you will be able to board the squid boat and see how the local fishermen catch squid and other fish, the excursion lasts about 45 minutes.

Day 2: More Cruise Halong Bay on Valentine Junk – Hanoi (Brunch)

6:45 Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room.

7:00 Arrive at the Surprise Cave area, there is a small fishing village here. Relax on board. You may join Tai Chi instruction on the sundeck at 7:00, duraion about 30 minutes.

8:00 Transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave. Walk up the 100 steps to the entrance of the cave and tour on foot for approximately 45 minutes.

9:00 Upon return to the boat take time to freshen up and please check-out of cabins. Please leave heavy luggage outside of the cabins (staff will transfer to the pier). Depart for Bai Chay/Halong pier.

9:30 Enjoy Breakfast Set Menu or Buffet served in the dining room. Settle bills in the dining room after breakfast.

10:00 Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room and enjoy the bay scenery as we approach the pier.

10:45 Arrive at Bai Chay/Halong pier.

11:00 Transfer by tender to the pier, relax inside the pier building while waiting for return transportation by Private Car.

Arrive Hanoi at 4.00pm. The Trip ends at your hotel.

VIP Valentine Cruise Halong Bay 3Days/2Nights on Luxury Cruise

Day 1: Hanoi-Valentine Cruise Halong (Lunch, Dinner)

12:15 Transfer by tender to the Valentine boat – enjoy Welcome Drink. After the briefing and check in we have a bit of free time till lunch is served at 1:00pm. Lunch is a multi-course Vietnamese and Western set menu. Any and all dietary needs will be catered to.

During lunch we cruise through the Bai Tu Long Bay, cruising through the most beautiful and quiet area in Bai Tu Long Bay and Halong Bay to visit Cua Van Fishing Village. Cua Van Floating Fishing Village is one of the largest fishing village on the Bay. Guests can choose between kayaking through the village or visiting on small bamboo boats (sampans) rowed by the villagers.

Back on board after visiting the village there will be free time of about one and a half hours before the Cooking Demonstration on board will be held by our Chef and all the passengers could attend to this. During that time the chef will conduct a Cooking Demonstration showing the guests how we decorate and make some Vietnamese food which is traditional food in Vietnam. In addition we will have the first of our double happy hours from 6:00 till 7:00 during which time one free drink will be received for each one ordered. The dinner is served at 7:30pm.

Dinner is a sumptuous buffet featuring an array of salads, seafood, meat dishes, seasonal fresh fruits and deserts.

After dinner guests can relax in the dining room and lounge or on the upper deck and enjoy the second happy hour from 9:00 till 10:00. Board games and playing cards are available and massage services as well (massage service is available throughout the cruise). Also, everyone can try their luck at squid fishing from the boat with help from the crew.

Day 2: Full Day Cruising (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The next morning coffee, tea and breakfast pastries are on offer from 6:45. Tai Chi lessons are led by our tai chi master at 7:00 before breakfast is served at 7:45.

The day’s activities include cruising to less trafficked areas of the Bay for swimming, kayaking and other activities (the itinerary could be revised flexibly base on the weather condition). Lunch is served on board mid-day and passengers return to the Indochina Sails main boat at about 4:00pm for free time on board till the pre-dinner happy hour from 6:00 till 7:00 and dinner at 7:30.

After dinner guests can enjoy their second evening on the Bay relaxing in the dining room and lounge or on the upper deck and enjoy the happy hour from 9:00 till 10:00. Board games and playing cards are available and massage services as well (massage service is available throughout the cruise). Also, everyone can have another chance to try their luck at squid fishing from the boat with help from the crew.

Day 3: More Cruise Halong Bay on Valentine Cruise – Hanoi (Brunch)

The next morning coffee, tea and breakfast pastries are on offer from 6:45. Tai Chi lessons are led by our tai chi master at 7:00 before we leave the boat at 7:45 for a walking tour of Titov Beach Island. About one hour is spent on the island allowing time for a climb up the steps to the peak for a breathtaking 360 degree view of the Bay (there is also an expansive viewing deck half way up). After the climb there is time left to relax on the beach and have a swim.

Back on board it’s time for final packing and freshening up before enjoying a full breakfast buffet, including traditional Vietnamese Noodles (Pho). After breakfast guests may relax in the dining room and lounge or on the deck enjoying the last Bay view’s before disembarkation at 11:00am.
